Koya (古屋)| Izakaya Restaurant | Susukino (すすきの)

If you want to enjoy yakitori (grilled chicken) and oden (Japanese winter dish consisting of several ingredients such as boiled eggs, daikon radish, konnyaku, and processed fish cakes in a light, soy-flavoured dashi broth) at reasonable prices in Susukino (すすきの), Sapporo, how about "Koya (古屋)"?
This izakaya (居酒屋) is often visited by players of Nippon Ham Fighters, a professional baseball team located in Sapporo↓

See?! They serve a lot of kinds of yakitori (串焼き) and oden (おでん) at reasonable prices!!!

These are appetizing small dishes↓

Cheers!

Voila!
■Oden Round 1
Eggs, chicken balls, daikon radish, fish cakes, mochi in deep-fried tofu, whelk, and mitsuba
The broth is very light, and we can eat as much as possible!!!

■Yakitori Round 1
Negima (chicken and leek), and seseri (chicken's neck)
Yes! We can enjoy several unique parts of chicken. Sounds wonderful, doesn't it?

■Yakitori Round 2
Ponpochi (bottom part of chicken's tail)
I love this texture! Yummy x 2!!

■Oden Round 2
Takenoko (bonboo shoot), ganmo (deep-fried tofu with vegetables), ebi shinjo (shrimp fritter)
This ganmo (がんも) is very fluffy!!!

■Yakitori Round 3
Mini tomatos with chicken (ミニトマト肉詰)
The juicy tomatoes goes well with the tasty chicken!!

Last but not least, we ordered salmon rice (鮭わっぱ). Actually we always order this at the end of the meal. Let's open it!

Voila!
This is the salmon rice (鮭わっぱ)↓

First we eat it as it is.
The secret broth makes the rice very appetizing!!!

Next we eat it as ochazuke (お茶漬け), rice with tea or broth poured on it. You cannot finish your meal without ordering this!! I really really recommend it!!! Actually almost all guests at this izakaya order it!!

I really recommend Susukino (すすきの), which has a lot of attractive izakaya, and bars!!!
